HCS24 8"" Flexible Strobe Exension HCS24 8 Flexible Strobe Exension Made in Japan Flash Accessories Used to place lightweight flashes at precarious angles Hakuba's HCS24 has a bottom which attaches to a flash shoe and includes a knurled locking ring.  The 8 flexible metal arm contorts to many positions and stays put and is suitable for holding small flashes.  For closeup macro shooting these are commonly used with the camera attached to a simple straight flash bracket so that you can have a small secondary light source which is commonly triggered via an optical slave or via a command from the primary flash. The bottom also has a 1/4-20 threaded socket so it can be attached to anything with a 1/4-20 threaded screw.
